Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Vindern, we value transparency, accountability, and fairness. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines how cancellations and refund requests are handled for services provided by Vindern (www.vindern.ca). By purchasing our services, you agree to this policy.
1. General Policy
Due to the customized nature of web development, design, and digital services, all sales are considered final. However, certain exceptions and prorated adjustments may apply under specific circumstances outlined below.
2. Cancellation by the Client
Clients may cancel a project at any stage. However, fees will be applied based on the work completed to date.
If cancelled:

Before any work begins: A full refund will be issued if no planning, design, or development work has started.

After project kick-off or initial work: A partial refund may be issued minus any time or resources already spent (e.g., design mockups, planning sessions, content setup).

After major milestones or delivery: No refund is available once a project has been substantially completed or delivered.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to info@vindern.ca.
3. Non-Refundable Items
We do not issue refunds for:

Completed or delivered work

Domain name purchases

Hosting services (after activation)

Subscription-based services after the billing cycle has started

Third-party services or plugin purchases made on behalf of the client

Delays caused by client inaction, content delivery, or communication gaps
4. Refund Processing Time
Eligible refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days from the date of approval. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
5. Cancellation by Vindern
We reserve the right to cancel any project or service due to:

Breach of our Terms of Use

Non-payment or delayed payment

Abusive or unprofessional behavior
In such cases, the client may or may not be entitled to a partial refund, depending on the project phase and reason for cancellation.
6. Monthly Services & Recurring Payments
For services such as website maintenance, hosting, or SEO retainers:

You may cancel with 7 days’ notice before the next billing cycle.

Services already rendered during the active billing month are non-refundable.

No refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period once the month has begun.
7. Dispute Resolution
If you’re dissatisfied with the service provided, we encourage open communication. We will do our best to address concerns and reach a fair outcome.
